The MRI Imaging Group is responsible for the operation of the MRI Core Facility at the CBBM. Prof. Ulrike Krämer is the spokesperson of the Core Facility's management committee. Dr. Martin Göttlich, Dipl. Phys. is the technical director of the MRI. Susanne Schellbach and Peter Klein are medical-technical assistants who support the researchers with the MRI measurements.

Dr. Göttlich is responsible for creating MRI protocols, implementing new MRI sequences, performing strict quality control and assisting with data analysis.
